South Warrandyte Fire Brigade and the Police Helicopter briefing

 On December 27^th, the South Warrandyte CFA Fire Brigade was invited to join crews from the Metropolitan Fire Brigade for a briefing on the operations of the Police Helicopter.

The helicopter landed on the North Ringwood oval and the fire brigade crews spent an hour with the Police crew, being briefed on working with the aircraft and learning what actions they should take if they were called to attend a helicopter crash.

Helicopters are an important asset in emergency responses, especially in combating bushfires and rescues.
