*OPEN DAY A GREAT SUCCESS*
 

Over 100 local residents attended the brigade's Open Day last month, which was also attended by local media as well as local brigades. Despite the brigade being busy with fire calls right up to the start time, the activities and information on display were well received by all who attended. As well as fun for the kids, there were excellent educational messages for young and old, and the brigade has since started a new recruit course with locals who signed up on the day.
 A successful day for the public and the brigade and we hope to make this an annual success.
